We got up early Sunday morning and took off for Utah. We were expected to have great weather the whole way so I called my old roommate Katie and asked her if we could stay with her family in Kaysville for the night. It was a fantastic drive. Roads were clear. The sky was blue and the sun was shining, so we kept driving and got to Utah just after 6. It was SO MUCH FUN seeing Katie. I love her So much! Her parents, Cynthia and Bob are wonderful people and they treated us like gold. We had a warm cooked dinner waiting there for us and we just laughed and talked all night.

We woke up early early because we heard there was a serious storm coming later in the afternoon. We rolled into Rexburg around noon. Unfortunately we aren't moving into our apartment until Tuesday so we got a room at the Days Inn for the night. We are glad to have a warm place to stay tonight. There is SO much snow up in Rexburg it makes me SICK! I refuse to drive on the roads. Ryan and I got lots done today. I got my new student ID, we paid for our tuition and fees, and got a parking permit. We also decided to open up a Wells Fargo account because there isn't a Bank of America here in Rexburg. And since Wells Fargo bought Wachovia, I think we are going to switch our accounts totally over to Wells Fargo.
The Best, BEST, part about today was that Ryan and I met up with my old roommate Ashley and her husband Scott. We ate at our usual place, Bajios. It was so much fun to catch up because we haven't seen each other in 2 years! And we are both married now! It's hilarious. We went back to Ashley and Scott's place to meet their baby, Paris. Paris is a ferret. (ew) but she is a sweetie and very cute and Not stinky at all. My other old roommate Christina and her husband Josh were able to stop by. And the three of us girls just laughed and laughed and laughed. We were throwing names around and memories. From what I could tell, the three husbands all were getting along! We already made plans to go to the Temple together and have game nights! Yay! I am So happy to have some girlfriends again.
Anyways, I will post some pictures of our apartment when we get moved in. Thank you for all your prayers and support with our big move! We truly were blessed and protected on our drive. It was scary at times, but we made it!
