You know, the Beckham's...
tonight...
Meagan: Cool! The Beckham's are having another baby.
Ryan: Who?
Meag: David and Victoria Beckham?
Ryan: Who???
Meag: Like, the spice girl and the soccer player???
Ryan: Who cares about them?
...
Was I the only one excited to hear Victoria is preg with #4? I mean come on, what celebrity has that many kids these days?

Table time
Remember this post when I talked about Brinley's stool that she got from Grammy and Gramps Steele??
Well, the day after we got back home, I raced to put the table together. It was a tad bit challenging, but nothing I couldn't handle. I pride myself in being a really good put-together-er who reads the directions...thaaaat is key.
Brinley loves her table. but She loves sitting on the stool even more. She does this grunt noise if she wants to sit on it. She isn't tall enough to get up there by herself, but instead, she grunts...a lot and gets mad when she falls off it. Bless her heart.
(you can baaaaarely see her two teeth on the bottom)
I love that she loves her toys and table! I also love that Ryan has let me sleep in a bit more a few days this week :-) Isn't he the best!??
**Side note, did I really just have to buy more space from Google to blog?? Apparently, I've used my whole 1G they give you to blog. Did I just graduate to a new level of blogging???

Our front room revamp...
When we got back to Florida we decided to be more committed to Florida.
I hate the idea of spending money on house things.
I hate the IDEA, not the actually looking, buying, and putting up...but the money spending since we...don't...really have any to spend.
Ryan sold his law books back yesterday and we decided that the money we got back was $$ to us to spend, so we put it towards making our front room home-y. AND to work on
THIS.
I'm really proud of what we did because
#1 the closest IKEA is...in Tampa which is 3.5 hours away, which is my favorite place to house shop. Tear.
#2 it is still baby proofing red zone
#3 the front room is Brinley's play room too, so she has her play corner.
Drilling our new coat rack that I've had the supplies for...1.5 years!!!!!!!
Final product! It is perfect!
Our new curtain panels, rod and room arrangement. We thought that the couch in front of the window really closed off the room and light. I made the left side "Brinley's" corner where all her toys are. It keeps her, somewhat, contained.
Another look at the entry way.
Here is the couch arrangement. Love that couch!
Close up on the pictures. We have pictures already to replace those ones from our break in Charlotte, but I love the bigger frame. It was on sale at Michael's but it was a nasty pink/purple shade, so I painted it black. It looks awesome!
The ever talked about "awkward space." Ryan promised me it would look fine putting something up there, but I knew it had to be just perfect. That is the perfect place people put crosses, so I didn't want it to look like we were worshipping anything. Found that clock at Ross for $14.99 and it is perfect! Our old clock died in the move to NC. RIP.
I am so excited about this new set up. We are mounting our TV on the wall opposite of the couch. We also installed wall locks on our front and back door. It makes me feel much more safe and comfortable.
The bedroom is next!!
