Tuesday Bach

Dear Courtney and Ben,

Okay.

What on earth went on last night on Bach????

I'm trying to convince myself that the skinny dipping didn't actually occur and that it was my imagination that went wild.

Courtney, you are still pretty ug and your personality makes your face scrunch up even more. What is with the lip pursing thing???? Not cute.

And to you, Benny, I have lost what little respect I had left for you. POOF! Gone. I think you regretted what happened but what I hate even more is that since you did that with Courtney, it proves that you really don't respect any of the other women.

AH! They don't even know!!!!!!! Pretty sure if they found out, it would have only been Courtney and maybe Elise if she wasn't sent home (she was pretty desperate to stay) at the rose ceremony.

Ya, I think that bugs most of all. The other women who are genuinely there have no clue that you went skinny dipping with nasty Courtney. So knows what else you did in the ocean, but I'm pretty sure you weren't looking for starfish or seashells or something.

And guess what??? I'm sure you're going to pick that tramp to marry you too. This is Jake 2.0. America makes you out to be this knight in shining armor, And you're a total douche with zero morals. Of course you pick the girl that is most hated amongst the women. The girl who just wants to 'win' and it is safe to say Courtney definitively isn't the attractive one in the group. I give you 2 months.

Ben, I think you're disgusting. I'm so embarrassed for you. And honestly, it wasn't cool and ABC went too far. We all know it was staged and they set you up to do this. Nothing 'just happens' on reality tv.

Sincerely,
Your most hated Bachelor fan

PS. This blog is sent to you from the iPad! Sweeeeeet!

Park date with Mama

First, we hit up the swings.

And then it was the teeter-totter. I must have been the cool Mom at the park because there were kids lined up to ride the teeter-totter while Brin and I were bouncing back and forth. Pretty funny actually.

Brinley sure loves to climb. She kept coming back to these blocks multiple times to climb. Climb to the top, stand up, and then climb back down...over and over and over again :-)

She loved looking at the bugs imprinted as she climbed this climbing slide thingy.

 I caught you!!

And now onto the slide......making her way across the bridge.

getting ready to slide down

And then she finally spotted this electric game that is always swarmed with 7 year old boys.

and then 2 minutes after we started playing, the boys showed up.

Leaving the park! I love this picture.

driving home. Love this girl.

We had such a wonderful Saturday! Unfortunately, Ryan was studying all day and so he couldn't come along for the fun. Brinley is such a little pal and I love spending time with her. I told her that I would follow her around the park so she walked, and mostly ran, around the entire playground, only stopping for a few minutes at each. The swings, slide, and teeter totter are always a hit for Brinley. She doesn't really like to be bumped around on the bigger kid playgrounds. The weather could not have been more perfect. The sun was shining and I swear I was getting a tan! And can I get a whooo-rah for January coming to a close? This month feels so long!

My Target Model

It shouldn't be a surprise that I am very obsessed with Target. I love to go and walk through each aisle checking out the women's clothes first, then the shoes, home decor, and lastly, the kids section. I wish we were able to buy Brinley all the latest cute clothes, but for now, I rock the sale section. I saw on-line a couple weeks ago that some clearance was an additional 15% off! That never happens! So I jumped on the opportunity to get Brinley some new tops. I swear, we just bought her clothes!! This girl...she is growing so quickly.

Finding the right size at Target is near impossible for me, so I stick to on-line shopping for Brinley. I couldn't believe how many short sleeve shirts I was able to find! It is no longer winter here in Florida, more like a chilly Spring temp, so long sleeve shirts are on their way out. Of course, I couldn't find any shorts...maybe they will have shorts in March. Brinley has grown out of all her 18 month short sleeve shirts. I seriously wanted to cry clicking 3T. I asked her to stop growing one day and she said, "Mama, I can't!" ahhhh I'm going to cry just thinking about it. Where did my little BGB go?

I was able to buy 5 shirts that were all around $3.50 each, and they were the Cherokee brand. I am convinced that brand is one of the best for children's clothes. They hold their shape with so many washes and are good material. The shirts have glitter and lace and cute bows on them-so grown up. I call them her new Diva shirts. I was also able to get Brinley a new pair of skinny jeans. Granted, she looks like she is swimming in 2T jeans. The length is perfect, but the waist is as tight as those adjustable waist bands can go!! My little bean pole :-)

I was trying to get her to model one of her new shirts by teaching her to put her hands on her hips.

She was having a hard time doing it so then I asked her to smile! Cheeeeeeese!

Truth Tuesday

Okay. Please let me rant about The Bachelor for a second.

My thoughts on Ben:
#1, I still think you need to cut your hair.
#2, you're kind of a dud most of the time. I haven't really seen your personally come out, until you went on the 1-1 with Jennifer. She is a doll and you two looked like you were having a super fun time together.

My thoughts on the Women:
Blakely: I think you're kind of funny, and I LOVED that you were doing Emily's highlights last night. Oh my gosh that made me laugh. You were definitely annoying the first couple of weeks, but have definitely been under the radar lately. Not sure why, but you aren't in the drama pack anymore. Is Ben still into you? I'm not sure, but I think next week you two reconnect.
Casey S: You're super pretty but I wish you were more outgoing! I think Ben likes you and is interested, but who knows if you'll make it until the end.
Courtney: Ooooooh Courtney. I'm not sure what it is about your look, but I can't stop staring at your mouth. Are you self conscious about your teeth? Or do you have a cold sore? Or do you just have a weird shaped mouth?? I am so confused. I am not a fan and I hope Ben sees that your personality is quite poisonous. and when you say 'winning,' you are SO ANNOYING.
Elyse: who are you? Your skin is way too tan.
Emily: It always happens that there is a person who tattletales on the most hated woman on the show, and that tattletale will be sent home because of it. Emily, you're digging your own grave and Ben is NOT impressed.
Jamie: Who are you???? Where have you been??
Jennifer: I like you a LOT! I just wish your hair wasn't that fake red color. You are so pretty! And I think you are one of the most genuine women on the show. I'm rooting for you!
Kacie B: Love you. Your hair is so pretty. Just hang in there through the drama and you'll be there at the final rose. You seem so genuine and real. Ben definitely likes you.
Lindzi: Your hair and skin color are the same. That is weird. But you seem really nice but you are really quiet and blend in on group dates.
Nicki: You finally came out of your shell and you definitely weren't in Ben's face about it. Way to hang in there on the group dates. You're totally up for a 1-1 soon, I'm sure.
Rachel: ahhhhhhhhhhh your 1-1 was soooo painful, up until the last like 5 minutes when you opened up to Ben about your lack of communication in relationships. We laughed SO hard when she was talking about it and Ben goes, "What?" and she goes, "oh when I communicate." hahaha obviously you weren't communicating well enough for Ben to know that you were talking about your communication in relationships. You are pretty though and don't seem very fake. I can't tell if you have a super deep voice or a just a raspy voice. Love your bangs, and you have cute style for sure.

Eliminated Women:
Monica: I think you were just a jerk that first rose ceremony but you turned out to be a super nice girl! Sad that you didn't connect with Ben.
Samantha: DIVA. Holy cow girl. You were not at ALL what I thought you were like. Holy cow you are dramatic. I'm glad Ben sent you packing.

My favorite was at the end of the episode when they were clinking their glasses and Ben announced that they are going to Puerto Rico, Courtney chimes in, Oh I was there 2 months ago. And Ben tries to recover, well, You're going again!! ahhhhhhhhhhhh she needs to go home.
