Ocho

Miss Brinley is 8 months old.

Life around the Briggs/Steele home has been...busy. Like, we never see each other.

Poor Ryan has worked for the past week straight. I miss him! I am so happy he has the weekend basically off so we can spend some time together! We are getting our plans together for the BIG MOVE to Tallahassee. After like 3 weeks of complete head aches and what feels like an ulcer, we finally found a nice place to live. Phew. I am SO ready to be:
1. Done this internship. Even though watching crowns, root canals, and extractions are COOL, I am done done done with it!
2. My 2 on-line classes.

Even though life is crazy and I feel like my head is spinning, there are many things to be grateful for!
1. My sister is coming into town this weekend for the 4th!
2. My cousin, Katie, and her 4 kids are also coming too!
3. We are going to go see Eclipse! :-) I hear it rocks.
4. We haven't run out of money. Though I sometimes stay up all night thinking about finances until I want to PUKE, we aren't completely depleated of all our resources just yet.
5. I have a pretty rocking tan going on. It is nice that I only really need 3-4 days at the pool to get a nice bronze tan :-) The heat may suck here, but the sunshine+humidity=beautiful healthy skin!
6. Good things happening in the Steele fam. Big bro, David rocked it his first year at Penn State Law. Jilly is dating everyone and breaking hearts left and right. Get it girl. Jared has only 5 months left until he is home from his mission!
7. World Cup!
8. Wimbledon!!

But the most important thing:
Brinley

My current 8 favorite things:
1. Her big blue eyes stillllllll amaze me.
2. The way she yells. She has it down to an art. Especially sitting in Church. I love being 1 of the 3 families who have a baby. Everyone turns to look :-)
3. Crawls everywhere and loves to check out everyyyyything.
4. She has started giving kisses! Even though it is complete open mouth and lots of tongue, it is So cute. I love the slobs.
5. Still no teeth. BUT she bites into everything. ie. Pickles, freezie pops, peaches, beans...
6. She stands up in her crib. And screams until I get her to lay back down. Not sure if she has figured out how to get back down haha
7. Morning cuddles...still the best time of the day.
8. Her best bud, Sophie. They follow each other around all day. Bringing each other toys. It's cute :-)

*Sorry the blog has taken a back seat. Not much is going on here. I'll blog after the 4th. Super cute dress for the 4th of July Sunday!!! sooo excited! I need to get her a big bow....

Piggies

I tried a new doo on Brinley.
She seriously CANNOT be stopped when it comes to crawling. Everything is interesting to her. Especially things that shouldn't be touched ie. laptop, phone, remote, computer, Sophie's tail, Sophie's beard...Sophie in general!
I have to say, this is the best baby age so far. I love giving something completely new to Brinley and just watch her explore. She flips my phone back and forth to check out allllll the sides. Just in case she has missed something.
It has been SO STINKIN HOTTTTTTTTTTTTT here.
I'm melting.
BUT, I can't complain because I DREAMED of this kind if weather when we were in Rexburg. No complaining.

Happy Father's Day!

To my wonderful (and very attractive) hubby. I love you. I love seeing you play with Brinley.
Whenever I look at her, I see you.
love, your wifey

>I didn't snap a pic today, but I got Ryan a work out I-pod arm band. He's been running every morning. He has been wanting one really bad. I think I hit a home run today when he saw it :-) Good work, Meg!

Daddy! I love you! I love it when you sing to me and blow on my tummy. You make me laugh and smile everyday. Thank you for giving me my big blue eyes. Lets play tomorrow at the pool, okay?
love, your #1 girl, Brinley

Destiny

Moving back in with my parents, I am reminded at least 10 times a day why Ryan and I were destined for each other.

Not many of you know this...but...there were...signs. I have no idea why it took me so long to realize that the Lord was smacking me in the face daily.

#1

Our home was built by a company called:

But I guess that alone wasn't enough.

#2

Our house was installed with:

Good! Toliets!

But not just any toliets.

Briggs Toliets!

It is amazing how everything worked out. I laugh everytime I see the Briggs logo on the toliet. It makes me laugh thinking about when we were dating and breaking up almost weekly that I was SO tempted to cover up the logo with a piece of duck tape. And look at us now! Almost 3 years later of knowing each other, we are still wildly and head over heals still in Love!!
